Congratulations to the new Jessica and Brian Ash!! What a sweet couple! Jessica and Brian chose Boston Live’s Back Bay Package with Dj Greg. This package includes a Professional DJ, 20 Up Lights, and a Custom Monogram Gobo Projection Light.
As the doors to the Madera Ballroom opened and guest transitioned from cocktail hour to reception, they were wowed by the beautiful Up Lighting in the room and the bride and groom’s names lit up on the center of the dance floor. Each table was warmly lit with candles and the theme colors of the wedding were matched perfectly with the uplighting.
Jess and Brian wanted a unique and exciting introduction into their reception room, and wow did DJ Greg deliver! Each pair of bridal party members picked out a different song to be introduced to and did a funny dance as they walked into the center of the dance floor. Jess and Brian then came dancing in with enormous smiles on their faces.
They then went into their very unique first dance. Six months before the big day, Jess came to Greg with an idea of a different first dance that would start slowly then mix into a choreographed, high energy dance. This is a perfect example of how here at Boston Live we can bring to life any personalized envision you may have. They picked out the song by DJ Sammy, Heaven, Candlelight slow version. Greg made his special remix of the song and sent it to the bride and groom months in advance for them to practice their dance moves.
Little did all the guest know as they watched Jess and Brian’s romantic first dance, it would then transition into the techno version of DJ Sammy’s Heaven. And just as our bride Jess had envisioned, her first dance turned into a crazy dance party around them. This first dance really set the tone for the guest that this was going to be an unforgettable night.
The unique details of this night didn’t stop there. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, the bride and groom had a chocolate covered strawberry pyramid cake. No cake cutting at this wedding, instead they fed each other chocolate covered strawberries. It was so cute.
The minute dinner ended the dance floor was instantly packed, and stayed like that for the duration of the event. One thing that really stood out was the skill of the dancing. There were two little kids, no older than 7-8 years old, that had incredible dance moves. Several times throughout the evening there was a circle around them as they danced.
Very similar to how the night began, the night ended with a circle of all the guest around the bride and groom, romantically dancing to a slow song that then transitioned into a crazy dance party. The night ended on a high energy note with all guests dancing wildly.
Special thanks to Lupita, our up lighting technician for the event who made the room pop with color.
